Assessment and Evaluations of I-80 Truck Loads and their Load Effects |
The research objective was to examine the safety of Wyoming bridges on the I-80 corridor considering the actual truck traffic on the interstate based upon weigh in motion (WIM) data and recommend changes to the design live load factor for Strength and Service limit states. BridgeTech was the prime contractor and co-principle investigator, teaming with Dr. Michael Barker and Modjeski & Masters, for this research.
